Silk rugs are handled with a different wash chemistry to wool; hand-tufted pieces are checked for the specific weaknesses that machine-made rugs never have; antique and heirloom kilims are treated with the patience their age demands. Our specialism has always been rugs and rugs alone — we do not clean fitted carpets or upholstery, which lets our team focus entirely on hand-wash cleaning, dust extraction, stain and odour treatment, fringe and edge binding, and full structural repair and reweaving. Where a rug has suffered moth damage, foundation wear, or an unravelling edge, our repair work is done by hand, matching original wool, silk or cotton wherever possible so the mend disappears into the rug's own history rather than sitting on top of it.

We collect and deliver free of charge across North and Northwest London, and can usually arrange collection further afield by request.
